LAKE MACQUARIE: Creative’s Guide to Branding

March 15 @ 10:00 am 12:15 pm

Alt text: A person with short black hair is sitting at a wooden desk, working on a digital tablet with a stylus. An open sketchbook with drawings is on the desk beside the tablet. The person has several tattoos on their arms and is focused on their work. A large green plant is in the background. In the bottom right corner, there is a logo with the text "Service NSW Business Connect Approved Provider" along with the NSW Government logo.

This is a CREATIVE PLUS BUSINESS event in partnership with Lake Macquarie City Council as part of their LIVE and LOCAL professional development day.

Personal and professional branding is an essential marketing tool for creative practitioners, but understanding and creating branding can be a challenge.

Branding can be a tricky concept to comprehend, and many creative freelancers and arts professionals don’t understand how to make it work. In a crowded marketplace full of mixed promotional messages, a compelling personal and professional brand can help a creative practitioner, organisation or arts business stand out from the crowd. Creatives who make the most of their branding can build a loyal community of audience, clients and customers that are engaged and interested, willing to spend money, and happy to spread the word.
