Ryde: Creative Systems Thinking

September 19 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

This workshop is presented by Creative Plus Business as part of the Pro Skills for Creatives program for the City of Ryde.

There’s nothing wrong with paper and pen, but increasingly we need to use digital tools to help us with our usual professional processes. So… where to begin?

Creative practitioners and arts businesses face unique challenges when preparing for the future. Sometimes the key people in an organisation are so busy working with today, they have very little time to prepare for tomorrow. The Creative Systems Thinking workshop takes the time to discuss ways to ensure the longevity of a creative or cultural business, with the help of technology, by looking at the practical and every-day topics where digital processes can start to make a difference, including admin organisation, project management, financials, people and marketing.

This workshop is friendly, relaxed and informal – perfect for digital novices and natives alike. You can ask all the questions you have never been able to ask before and will have ample opportunity to network, collaborate and learn from your fellow participants.
