WEBINAR: Can A.I. and Artists Be Friends?

September 13, 2023 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm

AI is everywhere, causing strikes and changing lives while being debated all over the news. We creatives are torn between using AI on a regular basis (whether we know it or not) and staving off its terrible influences over our artistic expression and ownership. So, can we be friends with this new technology? Is it friend or foe, helper or hindrance, or just the way of the future?

In this webinar our Doyenne Monica chats to Rita Arrigo, Strategic Engagement Manager at CSIRO National AI Centre, about how we can use AI to help us in our work, the ethical considerations of these technologies, and how we can prepare the inevitable disruptions and innovations that are coming our way.

What’s Creative Plus Business?
We’re a social enterprise dedicated to educating creative people and arts organisations about business skills. We help through sharing practical knowledge in a fun and irreverent way, and everything we do is designed to help creatives to feel more confident and comfortable about the entrepreneurial aspects of their creative practice. We believe that a bit of naughtiness, tempered with a kind heart and a big dose of professionalism, is the key to helping creative people understand the boring basics of business.
