
Andrew Gray
Bio:
Andrew Gray has decades of experience in the creative and cultural industries, including executive roles in NFP arts organisations such as South East Arts and senior manager positions with national cultural institutions including work in education and public programs at the National Film and Sound Archive. His specialty as a creative industries business advisor is in supporting and working with a diverse range of regionally-based artists and arts organisations. In managing small arts organisations, Andrew has abundant project management and government funding knowledge, as well as experience working with Indigenous artists and communities on arts programs and projects.
He is skilled in strategic leadership, planning, managing and maintaining policy/operational budgets and financial procedures, and administration. He has a proven track record in supporting and advocating for arts and cultural development. He has a broad understanding of a range of creative industry practices, particularly for regional areas, and is an occasional musician, performing with The Jonathan Richman Experience, The Novellas and Stonewave Taiko.
