Brooke Scobie (she/they) is a queer First Nations creative business mentor based on Darkinjung land. With over 15 years of experience in community services and five years in the arts, Brooke specialises in empowering creatives and driving innovation that fosters growth and opportunity.
As a freelance author, Brooke has achieved national recognition, including their middle-grade fantasy adventure series published by Penguin Books Australia in August 2024, 2nd place in the 2020 Judith Wright Poetry Prize, and finalist status for the 2023 David Unaipon Award.
Brooke’s professional expertise spans program development, project management, and strategic partnerships across corporate, non-profit, and government sectors. With a strong track record of supporting First Nations artists and marginalised voices, they offer a uniquely holistic approach to mentoring, blending industry insight with creative and community-driven solutions.
