August 7 @ 1:00 pm 3:00 pm

A group of four people, three of whom are standing and smiling, while the two in the foreground are shaking hands. The individuals are dressed in professional attire, and the atmosphere appears to be friendly and welcoming. In the bottom right corner, there is a logo for Service NSW Business Connect, indicating an approved provider.

The basic legal essentials that every creative should know – and the best places to go for free help and resources.

Understanding legal rights and responsibilities might not be the most interesting aspect of professional creativity, but managing the basics is essential to surviving and thriving as an artist and creator. The Art of Law is a relaxed and friendly online workshop that covers those necessary basics, that will help participants avoid most common pitfalls when making professional relationships with customers and clients. In this workshop, every question is a good question, and we’ll also share more details about where to go for help, and what resources are available to empower creatives to manage the basics of their own legal affairs.
